Jennifer and Greg's New York City Engagement Shoot

While Curt was in NY to speak at the Hudson Valley Talent Exchange Program last week, he had the opportunity to shoot Jennifer and Greg's engagement session in the city.....and oh, what fun that was!!  Jennifer and Greg will be getting married in Orlando at Isleworth Country Club next Spring and it worked out just perfectly for us to do their engagement session in their hometown of NYC.  There's nothing better than the bustling city to get some fantastic shots and I am sure you will agree...the future bride and groom are just beautiful together.  Congratulations Jennifer and Greg - we can't wait for your big day!!

Curt Speaks at the Hudson Valley Talent Exchange Program

Curt just returned from New York where he was the featured speaker for the Hudson Valley Professional Photographers Talent Exchange Program.   What a great group of photographers! Thanks to everyone who made him feel so welcomed.  Jimmy and Liz Ferrara you were fantastic hosts.... we are so excited to see your new Studio space once it's completed.  Benny and Desiree...thank you for being beautiful models and great friends.  Check out a few of the images Curt got of Desiree below as well as the group of very talented photographers who attended the seminar and one very special photographer who gave Curt a "lift".

Kavita and Chung's Big Day!

We love to photograph Indian weddings!  The colors, the emotions, the traditions.....all of these things provide us with the opportunity to really tell the story of a wedding day.   Kavita and Chung got married at the Ritz Carlton, Grande Lakes and we were honored to be a part of their wedding day team.  From the wonderful connection between the bride and groom to the elegance of the floral and decor provided by Lee James and his team - this day was simply beautiful.   Congratulations Kavita and Chung...you are a fantastic couple and we were thrilled to be a part of your very special day!

Every so often there are moments in time that take your breath away and you are changed forever....

I feel so proud to have the honor of announcing the arrival of Curt and Susie's new little boy....baby Louie James Curtis.  He made his debut into the world on Tuesday, September 15th at 8:30pm weighing in at a healthy 7 pounds 12 ounces.  Congratulations Curt and Susie...your little man is going to bring you more love and joy than you ever could have imagined!  Thank you for allowing me to do your first "official" family photo shoot...I look forward to many more!

nu visions wins big!

It was a great night for our Studio this past Tuesday evening!  Each year, we enter the Florida Professional Photographers Print Competition and for the past several years - we've done well!  This year was no exception.  Curt took 1st place in Wedding Photojournalism, Best in Show for Wedding Photojournalism and won the Kodak Gallery Award....all with the same print!  I (Stephanie) took 3rd place in Wedding Photojournalism and 1st place in the  Environmental Portrait category.   We are so very lucky to do what we love every single day and we feel fortunate to be a part of such a great organization of talented professional photographers!

Girls with Attitude and Muscle Cars

Every so often we are reminded how lucky we are to get to do what we love every day.  There is nothing better than getting hired to do a fashion shoot and being told there are no rules!    The following images are from the first in a series of photo shoots that we are doing for a new bar called Bullitt, in downtown Orlando.   We were able to use a great venue for this shoot - Muscle Cars and Handle Bars, in South Orlando.  Thanks to Marjorie Robinson for providing the fantastic hair and makeup and Theresa and  Ashley - you ladies rocked!!  We couldn't have asked for better models!  Come check out even more photos from this shoot when Bullitt opens in early September - we will be rotating out our photography on their walls every few months!

A "Fashionable" Trash the Dress

We were thrilled to be asked to be a part of the Dream Team Wedding Seminar held at the beautiful Serenata Beach Club in Ponte Vedra Beach this past May.  There were over 100 attendees and we had the privilege of working with ten of the best wedding photographers in the state of Florida.   We must admit, we did luck out and get the best time of day....there's nothing better than the luxury of time, great light, a beautiful couple and no rules!  Amy and David - you were awesome...thank you for being such great models!  Thanks also to Damon Fecitt and the Professional Photographers Society of North Florida for the invitation to be a part of this fantastic day!  It was a huge success and we look forward to next year!
