A Father and Son Portrait Session.....with nu visions in photography

What a perfect time of year to think about having a family portrait taken.....I loved that Jerome's wife arranged (as a surprise) for he and his son, Christopher, to come in for a session with us.  We had such a good time getting to know these two great people and the father/son bond was evident....especially towards the end of the shoot as we were walking back to the Studio....the last 2 photos in this series are my favorite!

Ashley's Bridal Session with nu visions in photography

Pre-Wedding bridal sessions.....we absolutely love them!  What a fantastic time for our brides to do a trial hair and makeup test and wear their dress prior to the big day....all in a relaxed environment without the "rush, rush, rush" of the wedding day.  

Of course, we waited until Ashley's special day had past (she just got married on Nov. 11th) to post these beautiful photos of her - we certainly didn't want to give her groom, Jonathan, a sneak peek....and what a stunning bride she was!  We had so much fun working with Ashley - she was open to anything...there's nothing better than pairing a gorgeous young woman with a bit of rough textures to really make her stand out....the contrast between the two is great!  She has a fantastic smile but can pull of the "fashionable" look as well...great combination!

Kim and Adonius' Engagement Session with nu visions in photography

'Tis the season for engagement sessions for our nu visions' couples.....especially for those couples who are getting married in the Spring.  

Kim and Adonius....what can we say....this couple had us laughing through the entire session in the historic part of downtown Winter Garden.  Not only are they funny....but incredibly fashionable and full of life. They certainly know how to make each other happy and it was clear to us that they truly enjoy being around each other.  

Congratulations on your engagement Kim and Adonius - we are so excited to be a part of your wedding day team in March at the Ritz Carlton, Jamaica!!!

Lauren and Adam's Downtown Orlando Engagement Session with Curt Littlecott and Stephanie Rounds

We are so excited to be working with the fabulous Lauren and Adam on their special day this coming January 13th!  They are a "downtown couple" so it's only appropriate that their wedding will be held at the History Center - in the heart of downtown Orlando.   Since our engagement sessions give us great "clues" as to how our couples interact with each other - it is evident that Lauren and Adam's connection on their wedding day will be oh-so-special....the way they look at each other and snuggle into each other is exactly what we like to see.  We can't wait for their big day in a few months!

Lindsey and Beau's Ocala Engagement Session with nu visions in photography

The engagement sessions that we have are the perfect time for us to get to know our couples...but also a fantastic time to see how they interact with each other as well.  Lindsey and Beau showed us that not only are they a beautiful couple on the outside - but that they both have hearts of gold and truly adore each other.  We had such a great time spending a few hours with this oh-so-cute couple in Ocala last week.  There is not a doubt in my mind that their upcoming marriage will last their lifetimes....  Congratulations Lindsey and Beau - we can't wait for your big day in March!!!

Meghann and Eric's Bella Collina Wedding with nu visions in photography

Meghann and Eric were married on Sept. 24th at the gorgeous Bella Collina Country Club in Monteverde, FL and we were so excited to be a part of their wedding day team!  Meghann was a stunning bride....her dress was like none we have seen and I absolutely loved the "bird cage" hair piece/veil...so very elegant. From the moment her dad saw her prior to the ceremony, the emotions ran high...tears, laughter, tenderness, romance....everything we love in a wedding day.  The fact that the skies were stormy in the distance as we were taking photos in the evening was a bonus...love when that happens!!!

Congratulations Meghann and Eric - enjoy your new married life together as husband and wife - we wish you all the very best!

It has been a good year....

Rarely do I post something about our personal lives here - however, when something big happens for either one of us - we want you to know!   2011 has been a great year for both Curt and myself.....

First - Curt and his fiance Susie added another cutie to their beautiful family - little man Louie became a big brother to little miss Rosie!  She was born on March 18th and is now a gorgeous 6 month old giving her big brother (who just turned 2!!) a run for his money!

Second - I (Steph) got married on July 28th up in my hometown of Indianapolis!  It was a perfect day to celebrate with my closest friends and family....my dad was able to come home from Afghanistan (where he is currently serving a year of duty) - so everyone was together and I couldn't have asked for a better day.  A big thank you to our dear friends (and wedding team) who all traveled to Indy to make our day perfect....Lee Forrest (gorgeous florals!) Michele Butler (event planner extraordinaire), Marjorie Robinson (hair and makeup diva) and Gary and Julie (fantastic photographers) - me (and new hubby KJ) are forever thankful for everything you all did for us.

We do have a few more things "up our sleeves" for 2011 and 2012 - so stay tuned for more exciting news in the next several months!  It's going to be a great year for nu visions!
