A Waldorf Astoria Wedding with Curt Littlecott and Stephanie Rounds

The Waldorf Astoria.....just the name is beautiful! We had the pleasure of working with our fantastic couple, Andrew and Linda, on their beautiful wedding day on April 10, 2010. Susie Weiss and her team from Wonderful Weddings coordinated this incredible event. With the helpful "eye for detail" of event designer Kristen Koldenhoven, Flourish Floral Productions produced the most stunning decor we have seen in a very long time. With two gown changes and eight...yes eight! shoe changes, Linda was just gorgeous. The reason for the eight pairs of shoes? The heel on each pair got progressively lower as the night went on so that her feet never hurt.....love it!! Janine and her team from the Waldorf provided exceptional service and working with Perfect Sky Video, Bake Me A Cake, Fun Factory and Fifth Avenue Band rounded out a great team of vendors. Congratulations Linda and Andrew - we wish you all the very best!

Ritz Carlton, Grande Lakes Wedding

Congratulations to our fabulous couple, Michelle and Chris, who got married at the Ritz Carlton, Grand Lakes on April 3rd, 2010! We had such a great time photographing this ever-so-cute couple and were thrilled to be a part of the great team of vendors they put together for their big day. Julie Noda with Something Borrowed did an outstanding job with the coordination of every detail for both the ceremony and reception. Flourish's floral designs were simply gorgeous and working with Voila Cinematic, White Rose and Shannon Caine made this couple's wedding day just perfect. Michelle and Chris, thank you so much for trusting nu visions to be a part of your wedding day team!

Amy and Mike's Gaylord Palms Wedding

It was such a true pleasure for us to shoot Amy and Mike's wedding at the Gaylord Palms Hotel...what a fantastic couple!! We have known Amy for several years because of her work in the wedding industry, so it was an honor for her to ask nu visions to capture her special day. With the help from Brandee Gaar and her team, the wedding went off flawlessly! Brian and Richard from Flourish created an exquisite look with gorgeous linens and stunning floral....they really captured Amy's personality in their vision. Molly with Cinematique and Les & Wendy with DJ Sound Wave rounded out this fabulous team of vendors for the big day.

Congratulations Amy and Mike - we wish you nothing but love and happiness in your married life together!

Bali Wedding - Curt Littlecott with Indra Leonardi

While Curt was over in Indonesia for the annual Society of XXV meeting, he had the once in a lifetime opportunity to shoot a wedding in Bali with the great portrait artist and fellow XXV member, Indra Leonardi.  

The wedding ceremony took place at a chapel built into the cliffs at the Nikko Resort and Spa and was followed by a very elaborate reception with 400 guests under a huge tent.  Most of the family and guests were flown in from Jakarta for the 3 days of celebrations that ended with an after party in a separate clear-top tent and a beautiful fireworks display on the beach. 

 

It was a true pleasure for Curt to capture the storytelling images while Indra created the most exquisite portraits of Regan and Yvone.

Amy's Boudoir Session with Stephanie Rounds

Stephanie had so much fun working with our upcoming bride, Amy, on her boudior shoot....a surprise for her future husband!  Amy and Mike are getting married on March 13, 2010 and Amy decided to have a book made to include images from this shoot along with the words to "their song" and personalized notes.  She is giving this romantic gift to her future husband on their wedding day.  Below is a sneak peek of what Steph captured. Amy, you are simply stunning...Mike is a very lucky man to be able to call you his wife!  

Curt Littlecott and Society of XXV in Bali

For the past two weeks, Curt has been in Bali for the annual meeting of the Society of XXV. Each year, this elite group of some of the world's finest International photographers get together at a different location in the world. The goal of XXV is to raise the art of photography for the members to new standards through free exchange of ideas and techniques and to increase their business awareness accordingly. Below is the press release that went out regarding a photography exhibition that XXV and Curt were a part of last week in Bali. The first image is of Curt at work (taken by master photographer and good friend, Marcus Bell). The second image is the photo that Curt took and is hanging in the exhibition. It was one of the first prints sold on the opening night. The final image was taken opening night of the exhibition.

International photographic organization, Society of Twenty-Five, will open a photographic exhibition of iconic figures of Bali. The opening will be March 2, 2010 at 6:30pm at the KOMANEKA Fine Art Gallery un Ubud, Bali. The images will be on exhibit through March 12, 2010 and will then travel to other locations around the world.

The photographic artists will attend the opening night of the exhibit. Profits from the sale of the images will benefit the Komunitas Anak Alam, a community of Indonesian youth with various activities dedicated to educating and nurturing marginalized and disadvantaged children in Blandingan Village, a remote area in the hills around Batur Lake Caldera in Kintamani, Bali.
